Genital warts are sexually transmitted disease caused by virus. In women the warts grow in and around the entrance to the vagina and anus causing discomfort.

Genital warts are caused by a variety of HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). This is linked to subsequent development of cervical carcinoma in some cases. Not wishing to alarm you if you've got them, get to a doctor ASAP.

It just means you have warts on your genitals. Kind of the same for guys.
