She said that it had something to do with the white cells but that it was not that low where they would be concern. But she did not explain exactly what this meant. Does anyone know???

Just means your white cell count (the cells that fight off infection) are lower than normal. I wouldn't be concerned, sometimes that happens when your body is going through changes of any sort. If they're not worried then don't stress yourself! lol I know it's hard, but it's really not anything to worry about. Good luck!

A CBC is a 'complete blood count' it deals with your white blood cells and your red blood cells. As far as them being low then she may be implying that you may be anemic. Not completely sure about the whole low count thing but I do know that is what CBC stnads for. Call the doc office and ask the nurse to explain it to you a little better.

What it is:
A complete blood cell (CBC) count may be ordered as part of an general check-up, or to test for certain conditions such as inflammation, infection, and anemia. A CBC is actually comprised of several different tests that are run on the blood, including white and red blood cell counts, white blood cell differential, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, red cell distribution width and platelet count.

How it's done:
A blood sample will be taken, normally from the arm. If several tests are ordered, more than one vial of blood will be taken.

How it's used:
The CBC is used by physicians to check overall health status, response to a course of treatment, or more specific conditions such as blood loss, infection, leukemia, sickle cell disease, abnormal clotting.

CBC stands for complete blood count, so it doesn't make sense for your CBC to be "low." The CBC usually measures numbers of red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and the size of the red blood cells. Usually, your white blood cell count would be up if you have an infection. Low white blood cell counts can indicate bone marrow failure (for example, due to infection, tumor or fibrosis), presence of cytotoxic substance, autoimmune/collagen-vascular diseases (such as lupus erythematosus), disease of the liver or spleen, or radiation exposure. Unless your white blood cells are very low, there is usually nothing to worry about. Everybody's levels of what is normal and baseline differ. If your doctor is not concerned, you should not be either.

white blood cells are part of your bodies immune system when you have an infection it is what your body uses to fight the infection it may have been normal but on the low side nothing to worry about really if it wasnt low enough to concern her. cbc is a complete blood count if you were enemic i think your red blood cells would have been low.

CBC is Complete Blood Count.
Sometimes the cause of a low white blood cell count can't be determined (idiopathic). Known causes of a low white blood cell count (leukopenia) include:

Infections, such as viral infections and HIV
Autoimmune disorders, such as lupus
Certain medications, especially those used in chemotherapy and some antibiotics
Radiation therapy
Bone marrow disease, such as leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes
White blood cells help fight infection in your body. A normal white blood cell count ranges from 4,500 to 10,000 cells per microliter of blood. A mild decrease in white blood cells below 4,500 cells per microliter doesn't necessarily indicate a serious illness. However, a dangerously low white blood cell count — below 2,500 cells per microliter — increases the risk of serious infection.
