Help me define this phrase: "I am what I am," thought God, I must become who I will be come."?

God is saying that he is the only god and that he must become man to tell everyone that god is the only god.

I am God, I must become what I must become.
But God these days is believed to have all power so he can become who ever he wants.
Therefore he does not "HAVE" to do anything.
It should say "I will become who I want to become."
