I was reading a letter in Ask Amy about this. (See http://www.denverpost.com/askamy Oct. 23rd letter.) I would *love* not to wear one, but like the letter writer in Ask Amy, "gravity is not my friend." What is your opinion?

Have you heard of the "pencil test"?
That might be one way to resolve your question.
The other way is to take before and after photos of yourself, wearing whatever you like (with and without a bra) and decide for yourself.
I quote from the link:
"A pencil is placed in the fold beneath the breast and chest.
If the pencil does not fall, the woman has "failed the pencil test" and needs to wear a bra.
Diane Brill provides her own version of the pencil test; she instructs women to wear their best corset or sexiest bra, then stick a pencil vertically into the cleavage. If it doesn't fall, the cleavage is perfect."

No bra! I've never really liked wearing a bra and in the past couple months I have refused to wear one and I love it. I think breasts look beautiful, why cover them up with a bra. Who gives a rats @$$ if people comment on it, why is it any of their business what undergarments you're wearing or not wearing? I do agree thought that if you have large breasts you may want to consider wearing some kind of support, I'm lucky, I have smallish breasts, just small enough to get away with not wearing a bra. Burn those bras ladies!!!!!! (unless they're the sexy ones that you wear on occasion for your significant other)

Don't bra, if your young. You don't have to. However, if your susceptible to society dictates you'll want to bra. Not braing may
put you in receipt of jealousy,wrong ideas from your local male population,bad treatment from the old female population. And a reputation which you did not intend. Are you ready for that?. Anyway, if your small and you don't want to bra, you're not buying what's comfortable. Get a soft one. If your big, braing will afford you a better looking posture. And as the old money says posture just does so much for an uncomely girl.

Always wear a bra unless your bra size is like AA or something. Otherwise they will sag down to your stomach. Dont wear one at night though.

I personally love wearing bras. I feel much better supported and comfortable with one on vs without one.

do the pencil test from oprah lolz. try to put a pencil in between your breast and stomach if ur breast hold the pencil under...u should definitely wear a bra...if not go free! i myself prefer a bra unless its summer and i'm wearing a cami..sometimes i can get away with it. try tops with a bra made into them!

If u heavy chested you better wear a damn bra everyday allday even if u sleep ...but if they not all that big like a A or B cup then dont wear bras all the time...let them hang....

you should always wear a bra...but not to bed. every girl would love to not wear a bra all day. it will look extremely bad when you get cold, and you'll probably get embarrassed when people start looking at your chest instead of your face when you're talking to them. So, save the relief for right before you go to bed!!

in the days when we started the no bra fad with the flower children, we had a rule. If you can hold a pencil under your breast and it does not fall then you should wear a bra.
