If your friends are talking bad about you because of how you look then they really are not your friends an dyou shouldnt bother with what they think about you...if you want to lose weight, YOU have to WANT it for YOURSELF, not for other people because no one else is in your shoes but you and no one else has to deal with the struggles tha tyou go through everyday so you pace yourself and reward your self for all the accomplishments that you have made on your own!

If you are still fairly young, then the best thing I would suggest is to run a mile every day. That way, you can maintain your weight at 213 or even lose weight. That way, your body will grow into itself. A 213 lb. adult male is not all uncommon.

It's hard to loose weight because like so many people we want a quick fix. The best way to loose weight is to start with a good physical and diet plan. And as far as your friends talking behind your back......well if you didn't hear them say it then it did not get said.

if they do they aren't really friends.
the good news for you is there is something you can do about this.
there's a book called live right for your type based on blood type --it tells the best exercise to lose weight for each blood type and the best foods to eat and the ones to avoid too. It's helped me a lot.
Also --marilu henner's written a few books that are good too. She says: no sugar, no dairy, no oil. eat fruit by itself, and don't eat meat with carbs and break a sweat 10 minutes every day.
hope this is helpful to you
best of luck

That depends on your friends. If they're good friends they will encourage you to eat healthy, or mabe offer to go to the gym with you. Obesity in this day is very common, but unhealthy. Find people who will love you as you are, but will also encourage a healthy lifestyle.
