He has a few years left, the first losing season he has though the fans in Pittsburgh will turn on him and start calling for Batch to start. That will happen around week 12 this year I think. Dont even start with how the fans in Pittsburgh are behind their QB, because they are not behind anyone unless they are winning games, once that stops its time for the next QB to take over, if he doesnt win then on to Ward as the QB.

not long. It's not injuries, but repeated injuries that often end productive careers (see Bo Jackson and Terrell Davis). He is not even that spectactular of a QB. He is asked to manage games, in most cases is able to do that, yet he gets more attention than other game managers (Johnson, Brunell, etc) because he's on a high-profile team with a stellar D.

The guy does seem pretty accident prone (although I guess appendicitis isn't really an accident.)

I think maybe another 5 years, but they won't all be with Pittsburgh and he probably won't be a starter within the next 3 years.

Some of this year's issues he brought upon himself. i.e. the motorcycle crash. The other things are all part of the game and he is tough. Perhaps the Steelers will start drafting/developing a very strong and deep offensive line to always protect him.

I think after some healing he'll be fine if Bill would make him sit out a couple games and put Batch in he'll have a chance to get better. But Ben's young so i think he'll last.

Not much longer, as a starter. He has had 1 good season and 1 great season. This year he has battled injurys. Unless he can bounce bak from this i dont see him doing anything else.

2-5 seasons tops. See Steve Young or Troy Aikman for a more accurate answer.

I think 2 more seasons. But he will not start in the second year.
