ok I took a preg test this afternoon it came up neg...I dont know if I took the test at the wrong time or if its still to early but lemme tell you why I think im preg last friday I had spotting it lasted one day the blood looked like it would on the very last day of your period,next Ive been getting mild cramping it comes and goes then this is what made me think something deff was up I got heartburn twice in the past few weeks and Ive never gotten heartburn before....I called my dr and told him they said wait another week then test....I got the first response 5 day early one when should I try again????

The reason to re-test is that every person's hormone levels are different. If you haven't yet produced hCG at the level the test identifies, it will show negative, even if you are pregnant. Some people just take longer to produce that amount of hormone than others. If you read the box carefully they say things like "can detect as early as"; it's not a surefire guarantee.

you should wait until you miss your period! If not, wait another week or two and be sure to use the urine from first thing in the morning! You can also go to your doctor's office and get your blood drawn to see if you have any hcg in your blood!

When is AF due? That will tell you when to retest, you could always go have a blood test done.
