Absolutely. I'm actually 17 weeks, so 4 months along, but still looking like a cross between pregnant and having eaten a few too many bowls of ice cream. It is amazing what a few extra pounds can do to your looks! This in-between time sucks body-image wise. I find I feel a little better by wearing maternity clothes, so I look slightly more pregnant than fat, and trying not to look at myself in the mirror less than fully dressed with makeup on and my hair done. For some reason, the hair and makeup help me feel better about how my body looks.

Hang in there, pretty soon we'll be very clearly pregnant and feeling the baby kick and things will get better. (Although it can be hard to feel good about yourself when you walk in one day and the receptionist, who knows you are pregnant, comments that you are getting a little "thick!")

As a matter of fact I am 15 weeks pregnant and at times I am feeling fat as well. Dont worry too much about it. Soon enough we will be REALLY feeling fat. LOL Its very frustrating at times with clothes so I went and got some comfy pants. That made all teh difference. I just keep telling myself that no matter how I feel I am doing this for a little person inside that I will get to meet someday, and that kinda helps.
