just because they have had some good years, doesnt mean they had great decades..you cant say because they make the superbowl once every 10 years they are greatness..buffalo bills made it either 3 or 4 years in a row...cause the AFC was horrible and they got trounced each year....and some of the greatest players...every team has great players, so players get recognized, not the organizations...and i dont even know how to respond to some of the greatest plays...cause i have a feeling that is just a fan making an untrue claim since a "great" play usual happens at least once a weekend during the season

I guess your making a joke. The Raiders have one of the worst drafting records in the last 20 years. Just recently their #1 pick from the 2002 draft was cut by lowly Houston (Phillip Buchanon)

They have been poor at evaluating talent and poor at drafting which creates a bad team. They have a long way to go to be good and will never be as good as the glory days.

Every dog has its day. The excessive salaries plus the self abuse of full time partying have taken their toll on the once great Raiders. It seems the only hope of a come back is to fire every single one of them and start over again. Those contracts never said that they had to win, or for that matter even try very hard....
