the new trailer for season 6 (see link below) has just come out, looks totally awesome. dont want to wait till january for it to come out tho. want it now. lol

24 is NOT the greatest show ever, by any stretch of the imagination.
seasons 1 through 3 were great, but after that it got tired. i mean how many times can you use the same exact premise??! how many times can Jack get captured but not die?
the show had its day in the sun. it's time to let go and move on.

The greatest tv show ever for me has to be Father Ted,it was so funny,and The Simpsons is amazing. 24 iv never watched it,so i cant comment on the show,as long as you like it thats the main thing...

Well I have given up on 24 not as interesting anymore havn't watched it since Jack's DAUGHTER LEFT THE SHOW EXCEPT FOR AN EPISODE HERE AND THERE LAST SESON pitty they killed michelle off in first episode season5 she was one of my fav characters, my fav prog American Survior which is shown on TG4 Ireland.

Never seen 24, the BBC seem to show it at very odd times so I've never been able to catch it. So I'm gonna have to say the new version of Battlestar Galactica.

Personally, there are so many great shows on television now and in the vaults.
I'd give "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" a top slot for current shows...and M*A*S*H as top in the oldies category.
