Hi,
I'd like to be able to play mp3s from my website. Visitors would be able to listen to it, but not download it. It would be music that would normally be copyrighted, by that I mean music that may have been in the charts etc, and not midi files. The files would NOT be available for download etc. Just wondering if I can do it, or ways round it if there might be a way. Thanks.

Yes I own the original CD... and I live in the UK, as would 99% of people visiting my site. I know radio stations and other sites like pandora.com play music without it being open for download... hmmm, guess I'll have to search away.

Do you own the original CD? Anyway, it may depend on which state you live in. I do not see what the problem would be if people could not download it, but you should be able to look the answer up online. Good luck.
