To make flash cards out of them, write questions on one side, and write the answers on the other side. Then you can go through the cards, read the question, and when you think you know the answer, turn the card over to see if you were right. You can have someone else read them to you also.

Flash cards are small, sturdy pieces of paper, generally about the size of a photograph. To make flash cards, you would write the question on the front, and the answer on the back so you can quiz yourself. I found it very helpful in my foreign language classes, and when I had to memorize the periodic table of elements.

Index cards come in different sizes -- 3x5, 4x6, etc. If you have a computer, type out the questions leave spaces and type out the answers. Print them out. Cut them and paste the question on one side and the answer to that question on the other side.

3x5 cards, white, with lines on one side (normally). Can be found in drug stores, most grocery stores, and office/stationary stores. They are made with thicker stock and are the right size, which makes them good for flash cards.
