I love the actress that plays Ugly Betty, I think she’s playing her role really well. The 2 major networks in Mexico both tried to recreate Betty La Fea from Venezuela, and none of them got an actress as good for the role as on the American show.
I just hate the boss. He simple lacks the charisma the boss from the soap from Venezuela had, and I have a real hard time believing he’s not gay.
Any opinions on that guy?

Yeah, there's nothing spectacular about him AT ALL. Doesn't Venezuelan Betty develop a crush on her boss? This guy is definitely NOT crushworthy by any means. I also can't believe that he's a womanizer, which is what the role calls for.

I wondered about that as well. He is OK, not a whole lot of passion. Should have cast Charlie Sheen as her boss.
By the way, the last episode sucked. Doubt if I'll watch anymore.

No i think he is just fine in that role. and they could not have cast a better actress than Americus ferrera she is great . I love that show.Good luck and god bless .

I agree completely. Not a lot going on with that character.
