Is 43 too old to realistically decide to become a doctor? I am finally financially able to devote the time necessary for the schooling required.

After a bit more research, I found that technically they cannot bar you from entry if you otherwise qualify, but the oldest person to be admitted to the current class at Harvard Med School was 37.

You would need to be realistic about your body's ability to handle the long hours that are involved in being a resident, when you would be nearing 50. Could you be effective practicing medicine after being up for 24 hours straight?

visit college to income to be a nurse or wellbeing practitioner assistant (PA). scientific college demands a mastery of technological know-how which you likely have not got in case you have been working the previous 6 years in retail.
