I think Winnipeg deserves one because the team moved to Phoenix over the fact that the American dollar is stronger than the Canadian dollar. The Winnipeg fans certainly supported the Jets, so it's no fault of their own that they are without an NHL franchise.

I agree with the first answerer by oldschool in that retraction is the first order of business with an eye toward relocation of existing teams to cities that will have strong support and hockey tradition. They would be Canadian and perhaps some northern U.S. cities like Seattle or Milwaukee.

Hamilton, Ontario. there's a inhabitants of five million interior of using distance of the international (in simple terms half-hour from Toronto) in in all risk the international's maximum well liked hockey hotbed. there's a waiting record of hundreds for Leafs season tickets (the place it expenses a pair of hundred money for a playoff seat) so a 2d team in the section might have not have been given any issues. while it became rumoured the Predators might flow to Hamilton final year, the team's potential shopper began advertising season tickets with the supply that deposits may be back if the deal did no longer artwork out. the international bought out in an afternoon (no longer basically for a sport, yet for the season.) there is nowhere in North u . s . of america or Europe that could desire to suitable that.

I'm from Winnipeg and can tell you this...People want a team again, but don't understand that withen a few years we will be right back where we started. No one in thier right mind will invest money where there is no unity. Trust me, if Winnipeg got another NHL team,it won't be for a very very long time, by that time the MTS center will be like the Winnipeg Arena. Nuff said.

BRING BACK THE WHALE! Hartford was a great hockey town and I think Quebec should get a team back as well. Look for teams like Phoenix, unfortunitly Pittsburg (if they don't turn the finances around), or maybe San Jose start shopping the idea of moving.

Winnipeg!!!!! Fans there didn't want to see the team leave in the first place and actually raised 13 mil in fund raising efforts to try and keep them (which was later donated to charities when the owners sold them anyway). They have a brand new arena and HUGE fan base! BRING BACK THE JETS!!!!

Winnipeg. They will sell out every night and create a lot of interest in the rest of the area. People will do out to bars and restaurants to watch the games. I know the arena is a bit small.

Kitchener-Waterloo.

There's a huge population base in the area around there, the area supports hockey, the junior teams all around there all sell out, and there'd be a lot of ex-Leaf fans joining up since the games at Maple Leaf Gardens are all sold out, too expensive anyway, and the Leafs still never win.
