They are bith the same except for the cover, I prefer children's version as it gives you more of an inside into the characters of harry potter such as the funny illustration of the train adn hair the flying car etc. :-) Can't wait for the last book to see what happens in the end and what other character's die.

I'd find it interesting if there *were* an adult version. In book seven, Hermione and Ron would be sneaking off, borrowing the Invisibility Cloak, concocting pregnancy prevention potions...

They made an adult cover because adults felt embarrassed reading the child covers on the tube.

You have given me the chance to get this off my chest.
My wife is nuts over Harry Potter but I am unable to sit
and go through another session. To me, Harry is a pain.

It doesn't really matter since it is the same book. I just got the child's cover because I have 3 children.

I've yet to see the adult version.
So I guess I can only speak of it.
I liked the 3rd one the best.
Why, just seemed to have the best story and twist.

They are both exactly the same word for word. It is only the cover which differs. So I suppose it just depends which art work you prefer.

It's the same book, just different pictures. A great marketing gimmick!
