The story line, if I remember rightly, links the Egyptians, the Great Pyramid and its rituals with the Druids, Celtic Wiccan rituals, Stonehenge and Glastonbury.Avisit from the Eygptian priests. It's set in the old days and one thing I do remember is about a young lad going through a ritual which he had to stay in the hidden chamber inside of Glastonbury Tor. Also the Serpent Dance of Glastonbury , the link between the Egyptians and Druids and the base number of the pyramid and Stonehenge being the same. It's old.

Been searching for a long time. I remember it was a paperback and the artwork was along the style of Boris Vallejo. Will try and remember more for you two, promise.

I remember my Father reading it and he might of got it out from the local library. Looks like camping, as in tent, out down there. I will find this flaming book!

Afraid not Laurie but looks like a good book, Thought we had it there, the one I'm looking for has more to do with the Priests of Stonehenge and Egypt. Thanks though.

Try this:
Somtow, S.P., The Aquiliad :Aquila in the New World. New York, Pocket Rooks, 1983 (reprinted by Ballantine in 1988) ISBN 0345338677

Might not be what you're looking for but it was the closest thing I could think of. Also I know that Patricia vos Post wrote something a long time ago similar to what you've described but I can't for the life of me think of what the title is. Hope this helps and if this isn't what you're looking for I wish you good luck. I know how frustrating it can be to not locate a book that you're looking for.

Sounds like a book I may have read many years ago. Have you tried H. Rider Haggard as the author? If you are still in a funk looking for this book, I think your best bet is to go to the Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov and post your question there. Any question you have for that matter and they should be able to help you find whatever it is you are looking for in that genre. Good Luck!
