Technically, no, a period is the shedding of the uterine lining and it happens because the egg released during that cycle was not fertilized. Effectively, though, yes you can. While any bleeding you experience is not truly a period, it could be indistinguishable from one. Some women have period-like bleeds regularly for the first few months.

Implantation bleeding happens usually about when you should be getting your period so a lot of women think they're getting their period. It should be lighter though. You should take an early pregnancy test and call your ob/gyn if it's positive. Mine wanted to check hcg levels even though the spotting was minimal.

Yes you can. I suggest taking a pregnancy test to answer your question. But do beware you can get false readings from home tests. The first tests I took with my 2nd child (there were 2) came back negative. It wasn't until I was about 6 wks along till I got a positive reading.

Yes it happens to people all the time and that's why some people don't find out untill they are a few months along. Buy a test even the cheap ones work.

Not likely. Menstruation expells the lining of the uterus, so it would awfully hard for the little fetus or fetal sack to stay in there. Take a pregnancy test to be sure.

Of course. It's probably best to take a test to find out for sure if you think you are. That way, it won't be such a surprise.
