Canada is very nice but there are various things which you need to consider:-

Weather:-

It snows in winter and temperatures are freezing.

Cost of Living:-

You might find col expensive (I know for sure that there is land tax which is a tax payed yearly on owned property per square meter)

Culture:-

(Assuming that you are European) Canadian culture is different from European culture.

My choice:-

I would choose Thailand because the weather is warm, cost of Living is cheap, people are very friendly and welcome, there are lots of places where you can go (northern part of thailand is nature, central thailand is commercial, and south of thailand is coast and oceans). If you are interested in opening a Restaurant it has now become very popular and common to open such business.

You can do the same in Canada but you would need a reasonable amount of Capital, apart from the fact that you would need a sponsor.

I will pick " Thailand", as I can wear the summer clothes most of the time. There are only 3 seasons around the year but most of the time is just...warm...warmer and warmest plus rain which can be there at any month. People are very nice. Cost of living is very cheap compared to Canada yet they have good infrastructure too.

I have lived in Canada most of my life, although I was born in England, and spent a lot of time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I love Canada, and if it weren't for winter, I would stay here forever. But I plan to move to Australia.

I love living in Canada, but if I had to leave it I think the food, culture and climate of Hanoi, Vietnam would suit me very well. I also love America--somewhere in West Virginia would be lovely.

Canada, Germany or Switzerland because they all seem like very clean countries with good economies.
