sorry for this person. I met this lady yesterday and she continues to tell me about how much money she has in different bank accounts and how she got a million dollar home, and I am saying to myself "you don't even know me and you are telling me this". Then she was telling me how people hired hitmen to kill her for her money and a whole bunch of stuff that dealt with her money. I mean she is a nice lady but I don't want hear about her "money" . Which brings me back to my question If something bad happened to a person who constantly brag about how much money they have would you feel sorry for this person? ( I am not saying people know they have money, they are just bragging about it to everyone even to people they just met)

People like that need to be ignored. You might secretly be happy when something bad happens but really don't even put that much thought into that person. She sounds like an idiot.

This woman sounds like she's a little loose around the edges. Who in their right mind would brag about MONEY to a perfect stranger??? Not only is it rather tasteless, it's pretty dangerous.

I seriously doubt her 'hired hit man' story, but, who knows? If she's told enough people about her supposed money, who KNOWS who could be after her?

I think it takes alot of character to handle being wealthy. Years ago, I worked at a car dealership. A husband and wife came in to look at a new car. They were just ordinary cars, nothing special. I overheard the salesperson who was helping them ask about financing for the car they were interested in. In response, the wife (loudly) answered, "...oh, we won't be needing financing, we're rich." Several people on the showroom floor just stopped what they were doing and looked at her. She was just so tacky.

I think people who brag in general are suffering from a huge self-esteem problem, because people who are sure of themselves don't have to 'build themselves up' to other people. I'm not sure how I would feel if I knew something bad happened to someone who brags about their money. In general, I'd just think they finally had their appointment with karma.

I hope you stay away from this woman. Money or no money, she sounds like a total nutcase.

well I guess that depends are you the one who is going to cause the bad thing to happen? If that's the case then I would only imagine you would get off on it. Otherwise who gives a rats *ss...karma's a b**** and this lady will get her's one way or another...you just focus your energy on your life and how you affect others and you will be rewarded with fullfilment. Besides it sounds like this lady just came across this much money because she doesn't seem to kow how to handle it.

I would feel bad for anything bad happening to ANYONE. There are a multitude of reasons this person could be bragging she has money. Maybe she grew up not having anything. Maybe she is insecure and believes money makes one popular. Maybe she does not feel she is interesting enough to offer anything else. This is called compassion. If you feel a bit of envy of her wealth try to be happy for her. Money may be the best of what she has in life. .....And that ain't much.

Sounds like you don't like people with money. Stop being obsessed with them, Jake.
