When, not sure, see a doctor.
If it is cold it should be over in 3 days and there is no cure.
It can re-occur any time. It is a common virus or Bugg(street name)
Incubation period 7 to 15 days max.
Lasts 3 days. May elevate body temperature slightly.
Feel run down for few more days.
Treatment, good nourishment , plenty of water and rest. Over the counter medication and some prescriptions can help with secondary effects.
The most important thing is to know, it is cold and not some thing very serious, other then cold.
About setride?
You mean Steroid, it is up to a doctor it should never be taken without the doctor watching you over closely. It attacks your whole body if not careful.

the best natural way is nature cure to beat the cold. Take Cabbage leaves and put them in a container with water and boil.
As the water steams , take the container on the dining table and cover your head with a towel and inhale and exhale the steam.
THE steam process will clear your blockage of the nasal passage as well the lungs . Regular steam in winters shall keep you hale and hearty. When Cold is acute and for a long period, then you can put a small quanity of HALDI ( Turmeric powder ) instead of Cabbage leaves. BOTH the Cabbage and Turmeric can also be done by people having Asthmatic conditions.

The best medicine is the home medicine as it has no side effects.
Drink KADHA tthrice in a day, it really works. Take Tulsi leaves, tejpatta, sugar, pepper, basak leaves in a bowl and boil it till the water becomes half of the container.
Gargle with luck warm water with salf, and also wrap ur throat with a warm cloth. Try to avoid cold drinks. And drink a lot of hot soups but without chilli, it will work soon.

Cold is a self-eliminating condition. No medication is required. Take tea with Tulsi and ginger; it will give you some quick relief.

take tylenol cold and synus (not an off brand one) follow directions as it says on the box, taking them as close together as you can, it might make you a little drowsy at first, but usually taking 2 full days of this gets rid of it for me, and you can also go buy "wellness formula" (huge nasty pills that are AWESOME) from a health store.. if you can make yourself take them, they'll help alot
