some of the things my brother asks for are newspapers, magazines, snacks like peanuts, sunflower seeds, cheese puffs, and diet Mountain dew.. for some reason they cant get diet MD over there. another thing they can always use are phone cards. They do not need soaps, razors, deodorants or anything like that, they have access to those things. my brother also likes beef sticks, beef jerkey, movies, books.. You can make some CDs with the current music playing because they dont get the new stuff over there. I made a CD with all the new country songs and sent it over there. Each soldier will want different things so its hard to say but this is just an idea of some of the things my brother liked. Hope it helps.. If you have a FRG (family readiness group) in the area you can contact them and they will give you ideas too..
Dont forget that some of the guys are being sent to Kuwait too.. Dont forget them.. Thanks

You ask the family for the address. It's that simple. It'll take US postage to get it to the APO or FPO address, and the military will deliver it from there. You'll also need to complete a "Custom's Declaration"... but you don't have to pay overseas mail rates... Thanks for the very kind gesture. Our servicemen and servicewomen overseas really appreciate anything that gets sent over!

I read an article in our local paper from a fella that just came back and he said their number one need was baby wipes due to all the dust and sand. They use them for everything.
