It has been said that perfect love cast out all fear. Which mean stop thinking of yourself as inferior, no good, and hopeless. You are just as smart, beautiful/handsome, and intelligent as anyone else.

For a very long period in my life I dealt with these types of negative feelings. I finally learned to love and care for myself
and cast off these fearful and negative thoughts. I hope and Pray that you can do the same.

With fear, I gradually allow myself to open up to the thing I fear most thinking that whatever it is can be overcome. As with negative thinking, I try to find ways to divert my thinking to stuff that are better, that there is always a purpose why some negative things happen at this point in my life, which is planned for my own good in the long term...

Fear is the sense you will not be able to handle a situation. Educate yourself about whatever the issue is, then when you encounter it , you will be prepared instead of fearful. As far as negative thinking, that may be left over from childhood. Put it in the same category as any other bad habits you've witnessed or picked up . . .
acknowledge it and flush it as it occurs. Eventually it will diminish.

Using your imagination, confure up in your mind a situation that causes fear/negative thinking, and relax,

imagine the worst case scenario, checking any physical responses such as raised heart rate,

then, relax using controlled breathing, and tightening and then relaxing the muscles in your body.

Another technique is to use relaxation and imagination again but his time imagine the best cast scenario and notice how confident you feel, and try to hang on to the feeling.

Practicing these techniques makes them even more effective.

There are loads more in general self help books.

Take a deep breath. Remember everyone around you is human and they have at least some degree of intelligence. Remember that nobody is perfect, but we do what we can, usually for the better.
