Hello guys!
Here is a new easy question to you: What is the most sad song you have ever heard? Which song does really makes you cry (even the toughest boy in the world :) ).

My personal sad song is "Daddy Why" sung by Nichole Nordeman. The song is about a kid riding on a horse next to his father. After a short while they see Jesus being crucified. And the kid wonders why all people around Jesus want him to die. So he puts a lot of questions to his father.

Unfortunately, it is not performed by Nichole Nordeman.

“Well I suppose I got it comin'
I can’t ever pay enough
All my rippin’ and a’runnin’
I hurt everyone I loved

The world will turn around without me
The sun will come up in the east
Shinin’ down on all of them that hate me
I hope my goin’ brings them pease

Cause I, am going over yonder
Where no ghosts can follow me
Theres another place beyond here
Where, I’ll be free...
That’s what I believe…”

Seasons In The Sun
Terry Jacks

Goodbye to you, my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees

Goodbye my friend, it's hard to die
When all the bird's are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
think of me and I'll be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we've climbed were just seasons out of time

Goodbye Papa, please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along

Goodbye Papa, it's hard to die
When all the bird's are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children everywhere
when you see them I'll be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

Goodbye Michelle, my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun
And every time when I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground

Goodbye Michelle, it's hard to die
When all the bird's are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
live for flowers everywhere
I wish that we could both be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
but the stars we could reach were just starfish on the beach
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
but the stars we could reach were just starfish on the beach

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
but the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
All our lives we had fun we had seasons in the sun
but the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time

we had joy we had fun we had season in the sun.

Seasons in the Sun as above or Amelia by the Mission. It is about a little girl being sexually abused by her Father. I can't even listen to it, but know a lot of Goths that identified with it.

Banco De Gaia — Glove Puppet (Vocal Version), which I got on a chill out album (whoever put it together must've thought that if a song's slow, it must be chill).
Anyway, it's about a break-up and she's obviously the one getting the most hurt.

There's a song called "All Dressed Up" by Damien Rice that is pretty sad and dark. There's also "Nothing Gets Crossed Out" and "No Lies Just Love" by Bright Eyes. And there's "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt.

There's another one that makes me cry each and every time I here it, but it's in French so I doubt it would mean anything to you...
