i don't want anything less then perfect in this departament so that might be a problem

Looking for anything perfect is an unrealistic expectation. Promising that is a ploy people use to sell you things! It’s also a personality trait that will make your life miserable.
Perfectionists expect too much of themselves and others, and though it may be from insecurity, it is perceived as arrogant and unpleasant. The worse thing it does is make you yourself miserable. Nothing will ever be perfect, including yourself, including the other, including your job, your project, the weather, or your relationships.
Grasshopper revel in a relationship that is shared.

Zen master, What is the perfect relationship? What is it that you look for? We are only human, Can we ever be perfect? Can you? maybe to are expecting to much! And yes it very well may be the problem. seems you did answer you're own question.

if there is no such thing as perfect......then why put the pressure of something impossible on somebody else? or yourself for that matter? you'll never be happy with anyone if you expect it to be perfect.

i hate to tell you this,but ive been married for almost 8 years.and marriages are not perfect.but i can give you a little advice.
(1)if she/he wants to argue,walk away!talk later when everything cools off
(2)never ever go to bed angry
(3)always,always compromise.dont make it "my way or the high way"
so please take my advice and you will have a good marriage,not perfect but good

there is no perfect relationship[ orperson but you will find someone who in your eyes is so your relationship will have flaws but be perfect to you . lol
