I am wearing a poppy now and i will be wearing a poppy on Remembrance Day.When i was serving, over a period of 18 months 7 members of my section were killed.i was lucky i ended up with a medical discharge and a war pension.I do not need a poppy to remember my mates and others who lost their lives as they were my family. Everyday is remembrance day for me because i think of my mates 365 days a year. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. God Bless Them.

Of course I will!! My dad lost two brothers in the second WW, my nan lost her first husband in the first WW and so I wear it to remember the relatives I never knew. And I will go to the local cenotaph to stand and remember them, and for my parents who can't make it to the service anymore. And last year I took my grandson [now 4] with me and tried to explain to him what we were doing there. We also remember our young men and women who are in the Armed Forces now and facing danger every day they are out in whatever part of the world they are in. What do you think this country would be like if it wasn't for the Forces who liteally gave up their lives in any conflict the British have been involved in? Read your history!!

I doubt it. Always did as a kid because the school made a big day of it and we got to go out for the morning to the war memorial to lay our poppies but as an sadult I don't bother. I make sure my daughter wears one though, it's important she knows about it.

Yes I will and so should we all. Respect is little understood by the younger generation these days and it needs people to stand up and show how its done and perhaps they will learn the meaning of remembering the unlucky ones who did not make it.

Yes I Will
i wear one every year, i also keep the minutes silence And I always watch the ceremony every year
we can never repay what they went through for our freedom, and for them to be repeatedly sold out by the many politicians is unforgivable

If that is remembrance Sunday then of course I will be and probably in the run up to it too... I generally buy mine from the little man who sits outside of Sainsburys.

yes and i will also have the minutes silence.
remember the people who gave you the freedom you enjoy today.
if more people respected our veterans and remembered the sacrifices they gave then there would be more respect admiration and gratitude.
most of them lost or fallen are probably turning in their graves seeing that what they was fighting for is lost today.
REMEMBER THEM WITH PRIDE!
