With Michael J. Fox on the campaign trail against Senator Talent, can he beat his Democratic challenger? Does the race come down to one issue (embryonic stem cell research), put out there by a beloved actor stricken with the disease?

Senator Talent has worked hard to be Missouri's health care Senator. He is changing Washington and making it work for Missouri health care by:
--Passing a Medicare prescription drug benefit that is helping hundreds of thousands of Missouri seniors
--Sponsoring legislation to lower health care costs for small business people and their workers
--Passing bipartisan legislation to provide increased funding for Missourians with Sickle Cell Disease
--Sponsoring legislation to illuminate the Arch in pink lighting in October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
--Passing bipartisan military health care legislation for our men and women in uniform
--Supporting billions of dollars in funding increases for veterans health care

People in the Midwest normally vote against the Hollywood consensus. More information is coming out every day that embryonic stem cell research is worthless. They have made ZERO progress. It's a waste of money and debate. Stem cells from adults is the only research making any progress, and as long as the notion of cloning humans is left out, is worth standing behind.

Sen. Talent has done some good for Missouri, but how good can a Sen. be if all he is is a pawn for the President. He has Voted with the President 94% of the time he has been in the Senate, yet he says that he crosses party lines to do what is right. Crossing party lines only 6% of the time taht is not even close to trying to help Missouri, he is only trying to please his President not the voters of Missouri. Sen. Talent has voted down raising the Min. wage and yet makes 165,000 a year. Missouri needs a change and somone taht cares about Missouri. That is why the voters in the State Of Missouri need to vote in a true compasionate leader Claire McCaskill.

I hope he can't beat M.J. we do not need any more repuglicans in the Senate. We need a balance of power, a government returned to check's and balance's. The best legislation comes from compromise and this has been sorely missed in the last 6 years. It is nothing against Senator Talent it is against his politics. Vote for dems to return the government to the people.

Doubtful. People's biggest concern is human cloning for the purpose of making life. But I dont think the majority is against the growth of stemcells to save lives.

It looks bad.
Talent has been a great Senator and a great American.
Millions of dollars from Hate-America groups are pouring into MO to defeat him.
Commies will resort to anything to attain POWER.
