Yes, tylenol pm is safe to take with pregnancy. My OB for my first pregnancy prescribed this. As with most OTC drugs, you shouldn't be using them every night though. If it is every night you have a hard time falling asleep, look into some relaxation stuff or whatever you need to do to help get some rest!
For my last pregnancy, my doctor prescribed Ambien, which i liked better than tylenol pm. I didn't feel groggy when i woke up. But again, it wasn't for every night use. maybe a few times a week. So, if tylenol pm makes you feel funny in the morning, try asking your doctor for Ambien.
Get some rest!!

Tylenol PMS (that's not the real name) is not safe during pregnancy unless your doctor specifically prescribes it for some reason. That medication contains not only Acetaminophen (the normal Tylenol ingrediant that is safe) but also Pamabrom, which is a diuretic. Diuretics make your body release fluids via urine. Unless there is a need for you to be taking a diuretic, it can cause you to become dehydrated, a condition that can be threatening to the fetus's health. While regular Tylenol is normally considered safe during pregnancy, I would not suggest taking the Tylenol PMS with its additional ingredients unless it is suggested by your OB to treat some condition you have.

Usually, you can call your doctor, even if you don't have an appointment, and talk to his nurse about any symptoms you may be experiencing and what you can take safely to alleviate them.

If you meant Tylenol PM, not PMS, then it may be safe, but it is best to talk to your doctor or his nurse before you take any sleep aids, as they may or may not be safe given how far along you are and your particular medical condition.

Do you mean Tylenol PM? If so then yes, Tylenol is the safest thing you can take while pregnant. Good luck!

well here is a fact...
each time you take a tylenol (any kind) or an nsaid it can
1. make your stomach bleed
2. the chemicals in it remains on the spinal cord for up to 15 years.

if you are having pain, I would get an all natural pain reliever. I never took anything like tylenol when I was pregnant. I actaully used meditaion to help pain, but I sometimes used herbs that were natural.

Probably not.

Pregnancy-

For acetaminophen : Although studies on birth defects with acetaminophen have not been done in pregnant women, it has not been reported to cause birth defects or other problems.
For narcotic analgesics : Although studies on birth defects with narcotic analgesics have not been done in pregnant women, they have not been reported to cause birth defects. However, hydrocodone caused birth defects in animal studies when very large doses were used. Codeine did not cause birth defects in animals, but it caused slower development of bones and other toxic or harmful effects in the fetus. Pentazocine and propoxyphene did not cause birth defects in animals. There is no information about whether dihydrocodeine or oxycodone causes birth defects in animals.
Too much use of a narcotic during pregnancy may cause the fetus to become dependent on the medicine. This may lead to withdrawal side effects in the newborn baby. Also, some of these medicines may cause breathing problems in the newborn baby if taken just before or during delivery.
For caffeine : Studies in humans have not shown that caffeine (contained in some of these combination medicines) causes birth defects. However, studies in animals have shown that caffeine causes birth defects when given in very large doses (amounts equal to those present in 12 to 24 cups of coffee a day).

Because it is not just straight tylenol it probably has more active ingredients in it than just acetaminophen. Not knowing what other active ingredients are in it I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't risk it. Stick to single ingredient tylenol with just acetaminophen.

Well my doctor said that it was safe to take anything with the name TYLENOL on it! So I assume yes! You should talk to your doctor though!
