my dear friend used to come over to my house with fresh baked muffins when she knew I was facing problems and we'd talk and she would hug me (she taught me how to do that) and we'd talk some more and we'd cry and sometimes we'd talk until 3 in the morning and we'd cry and she would listen. Or she would talk and we would cry and I would hug her (she taught me how to do that) and I would listen. We've spent 30 years doing that.

Being honest, loyal, and truthful. Not being a controller, a gossip, a user, or a game player. Being flexible and not always having to win, be right or have the last word.

they just have to be themselves. To have God as their center.Be caring to the people and animals around them. I don't care for superficial.I don't care for petty backstabbing. A friend is a friend all the time. through the good times and the bad.Thats what makes the best friends

well a person needs to firstly be nice to you to be on the right track, do you want a friend that hits you?!(thats what girlfriends are for!! nly jokin!!) they need to earn your trust, just like you need to earn theirs, both people need to work on improving the friendship! when its comes to the worst times, i dunno maybe an injury or bereavment your friend is the one who will stick by you, you will know straight away whether they will or not by their attitude, if they arent that bothered in putting in effort to make friends then dont trust them or confide in them. once they have proved to you that they can be trusted then you can relax and be less weary of them! friendship is a very important relationship and isnt to be messed with, anyone who makes a mockery off it should be ditched! thats MY opinion anyway!!

Treat me the way that they would want to be treated. Share common interest with me and be a good conversationalist.

be there for me as I would be for them, treat me with respect, never lie, be able to keep a secret, tell me if I have toilet paper stuck to my shoe or broccoli between my teeth, be able to take a joke as well as tell one.
