That would be logical,but no.Back in the day,the general stores would sell crackers from barrels.By the scoop,because there was no packaging.

If you look at past history, you d find that saltine crackers where sold in barrels at general stores. When you walk into a Cracker Barrel restaurant, you walk right into their attempt at replicating the old fashion general store!

I enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel. It has some good & affordable food. And I am *not* a "cracker."

because years ago people went to the general store and sat around the "cracker barrel" and swapped stories and information. It was the place that people met to catch up on local information.

for one this is a brand of cheese so what is your point and it is good cheese but yes it is high for the price but good on crackers.
