I am 18 weeks pregnant and am showing as much as my sister was at 6 months. My tummy is firmish, but really big (I have had about 20 people in 2 days ask when I was due and not believe me) I was kinda big to start with, not huge, but not skinny, would that be the reason or am I jsut putting on weight or is this normal. Its my first, but I had a miscarraige at 3 months 2 years ago

Not only is every woman different, every pregnancy is different. Don't worry, it's completely normal. I hardly showed at all until I was 7 months along, but my sister-in-law looked huge when she was only 3 months pregnant. These were first pregnancies for both of us and we started out at about the same size.

Every pregnancy is different. It all has to do with where the baby is located, how over weight you are,even gas can cause some of it....everything......... I am at almost 26 weeks and I am looking pretty big myself.....there is only one baby this time, but I did have twins with my first pregnancy. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.

Well you shouldn't really compare your pregnancy to anyone elses because all pregnancies are different. When I was pregnant with my daughter I didn't start showing until I was around 7 months and now I'm pregnant again and only 8 weeks and I'm already showing! Everyone is different so don't worry!

I got big really fast too!I wasn't even a mth when I started showing!I think you gain weight faster with your first!Even though I only have 1,my sisters didn't gain so much after their first!Just make sure you drink lots of water!Also try to watch your cravings!It took me 11/2 years to get close to my pre pregnancy size!I also gain 70 lbs while being preg.Good luck!Oh and Congrats!

I am only 3 months pregnant and already showing, I think everyone is different, don't worry, and how exiting for you that you are showing. I was gaining weight for the first 2 months and couldn't wait to show so I didn't feel so fat, congratulations!!!!

Well, different people show differently. As long as your ultrasound shows that your baby is of normal weight, I wouldn't worry about it.
It is pretty for people to ask you when you are due when you are pregnant. I wouldn't worry about it. just enjoy! ;)

Everyone grows and carries differently in their pregnancy. Just go with what your OB tells you and as long as he says nothing is wrong and you and baby are healthy then just enjoy being pregnant. Good luck!

honey you are just gaining weight. some people have big tummies when their pregnant because your tummy was already big plus your gaining and the baby is getting bigger.

Everyone is different, some don't show much at all and some (like us), will show early and alot. Good Luck!
