Advantages:
-Decreased environmental depletion
-Reduced disease transmission
-Increased per Capita incomes/available wealth
Disadvantages:
-Smaller future generations mean a larger burden on future generations to take care of the older generation
-Welfare state collapse

For one thing, its a different take on the whole "pro-life"/"pro-choice" argument.
You didn't specify how we would do this. Would it be an evasive procedure, or something that the government would slip into our food/water source?
Advantage: Stupidity and illnesses could be bred out.
Disadvantage: No reproductive rights.

Advantage-It would reduce the illegal Hispanic population.
Disadvantage-It would reduce the Democratic voters.
