Mine would have to be a my summer before I became a sophmore in college, I worked as a telemarketer, selling people credit cards. It was horrible. I would come home feeling drained each day and know I would have to go back tomorrow. People would curse you out and get smart with you. But you couldn't get smart back with them.

Well that's mine, What's yours?

My current job sucks big time! I work security but it's not the job duties that are bad- it's the company I work for and their policies. We've received 4 pamphlets on fire safety in the last three months... how many ways can you say: if you find a fire, evacuate the building, call 911 and show the fire dept. where the fire is when they arrive? Now there's even talk of a safety training coarse on how to walk up and down stairs! If I needed a nanny I would hire a nanny for crying out loud. Now they want to train us to do things that only supervisors should be doing i.e. security assessments i.e. what is the likelihood of this or that happening and the ramifications of such events. This way they get out of having to promote people to a supervisor position in the future and save money associated with said position.
So while they train us more and more and more- we haven't had a raise and 2 1/2 YEARS!!!!!
So Yahoo!Answers is now how I spend most of my work days!LOL
Have a great day!!!

I was a telemarketer too.. the money was good, but I felt shooting myself when I got home most days... customers had damned me to hell, threatened to track me down and kill my family, and prayed that I would get in car accidents on the way home. That's great... a simple "No, thanks" would have done.

Second worse... A phone sex girl... I lasted all of 4 hours at that job... It's impossible for me to keep from laughing when a grown *** man wants me to do baby & mom R/P with him..

pssst Anitababy... embalmers don't do autopsies
morticians do embalming
pathologists or medical examiners do autopsies

Same for me, Telemarketer when I was 15 selling magazine subzcriptions. I had people curse at me and hang up. Sometimes it made me cry. Now I am always kind to telemarketers, and try to let them down gently.

Worst job was working for Toys R Us in Burlington, NJ. I had transferred there from the Everett, WA store (which I LOVED!) but the management at the one in NJ were massive jerks. One supervisor would even lock the stock room door claiming my main job was greeting customers (which it wasn't), and then when the leader of that department came in, I would get yelled at for not stocking the shelves. She was friends with the first supervisor, and they didn't like me because I was new. Then they transferred me to the video game department, which wasn't as bad, but I only stayed for two months after that.

Mine was also telemarketing and that was for the newspaper. The rejection got to me so after two days of work I never went back. Sales is not me.

When I was 15, the only job I could find was cleaning motel rooms, for one summer until school started. Three construction workers were sharing a room and got drunk and yakked all over the bathroom floor...I had to clean up a puddle of puke that was four feet in diameter!

My worse job was at a bank. I loved the work but my boss hated me. She even told me to my face one day that she didn't like me. I was always so stress and came home in a bad mood. I finally found a new job.
