It seems like we are together 24/7 and talk on the phone throughout the work day. We have kinda been getting irritated at each other a lot lately. Any advice?

You sure can spend too much time together with your spouse or anyone for that matter. One of my favorite sayings is "keep the mystery alive in your marriage." If you are together 24X7 there is no room for any mystery any longer. I am sure tht you remember back when you were first dating, you could not wait to see her again. That was becasue you have limited time together and you wondered where she was, what she was doing and wanted to know if she was feeling the same way... Find some things that she and you can do seperate so that you are not together 24x7 and make yourself miss her and make her miss you.

I work in the same office as my boyfriend. We see eachother all day. Then.... we live together too! So, it's pretty much like we are married.

And yes... I sometimes feel it would be alot better to not see eachother so much. Sometimes I just need to get out and take a break every so often.

When we start to annoy eachother, time apart always seems to bring us back together happier.

Go visit family or go on a weekend trip with some guy friends. Send your wife to a spa... or suggest she go visit that girlfriend she hasn't seen in months/years.

The money spent will be well worth it. :)

take a little break. A night out with the fellas and a ladies night is very good for these situations. Me and my man talk all day everyday and we are always together. When we get irritated it doesn't mean we don't love each other sometimes you just need a little space. Take a weekend and just chill with some old friends.

Back off the phone throughout the work day. You should be working! Spend time at home doing other things, like hobbies. I can be in the same room with my hubby but be in a totally different place. (I love to read, he loves to play video games) But I don't think you can ever spend too much time with your spouse. One day you may regret that you didn't spend more time with them.

Yes, you can spend too much time with your spouse. Everyone needs to be able to hold on to some individuality so that when they return to the relationship, there's something new to share.

Back off a bit.

Yes. I would try not to call each other through out the day, unless it's an emergency and no emailing either. Then when you do see each other at the end of the day, you'll have something to talk about and you'll both hopefully look forward to reconnecting.

its not that you are together like that but you dont have about 20 minutes of just you time even though you are married you still need time alone for just you just to rejuvinate from the day try maybe texting little love quotes or just leave a little note instead fo calling all the time it might work better just comprimise. good luck

You can never spend too much time with your spouse, but it also good to have time apart away from each other that way y'all learn to miss them and appreciate them when you are not together.

well, the first thing to do is stay away from her. My husband was the same before we got married and the first year we were married. Then I decided to pursue so many hobbies that he could find less time to irritate me and this led us to miss each other more and to be more forgiving and tolerant.
