Beer Sipping, Bobby Dazzling; cheese and pickle sandwich munching all around good sports; generally with a dry; droll sense of humour. Talk peculiarly though; but I suppose it is Your language.

Well, would it give you a hint to say that London is my favorite city?

The attitude of the British has always been something to admire. I happened to be in the vicinity of St. James Park one day and noted a crowd gathering. Went down to see what was happening, turned out HRH Elizabeth II was greeting a dignitary that day. Took a place at the barricade rope, and got into a conversation with a Constable about what was happening and about things in general. His Sergeant came our way and I was afraid that I'd gotten the Constable in trouble, but it was not so. The Sergeant joined in the conversation.

We were having a good time chatting when the Queen was driven by about 20' from us on her way to the Horse Guards. They told me about her finally giving in and allowing a bullet-proof car to be used. But when she came back in a coach with the politician she was greeting she had left the high tech. car behind. Chas. was in an open carriage next in line. Everybody waved and cheered, and I took my leave of the policemen as they were taking down the barricade rope.

Now can you imagine w politician in the U.S. having a clear enough conscience to let the public approach so closely? And this is normal for all members of the royal family. When Andrew met my children in Scotland w few years ago (distant cousins) he just mingled with the crowd and had a good time.

Guess I like Brit's, with cause.

Wish I could drop by the Ram's Head (Kensington) this afternoon for a pasty and a pint.

When I listen to you British talk on tv(or to my ex. british in law) I can see where we here in the South got our Southern accent from. I can see it in a mixture of English(especially cockney) Scotch, iris, welsh. When i hear a welshman like Tom Jones sing I can se how black singers got their accent(and it isn't african).
I think Britian is a very Important foirce in maintaining freedom world wide. I also think that had the British Empire remained wher eit was after ww2 the world would be abetter and safer place to live.
I feel sorry for the Brits, scot, irish, welsh as I do all Europeans who have allowed trashy people wo immigrate there lowering the standards of living, raising crime. Thos who do not wish to become , Irish British or German or Franch, but wish to change Britian, or France or Germany to the hell hole they left.
As America has done we are seeing peoplecome in there who wish to distroy the country . We may now see a muslim in America's congress who will be elected tpo his seat in the house of representives by a majority(recent )somili vote which only a few year sago were involved in killing american soldiers and sititng them on fire dreagging them down the streets for trying to feed them.
This is the kind of trouble we have in common wiht Britianand Europe and we amercans are partly responsible with out liberal intrepation of right and wrong. (most often it was wrong.).
I think American politics have done much damage to Britian in particle, and European people .

I think British people are cool. I love to watch British t.v. shows my faves right now are "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Waiting for God". I tried to watch "Coupling", but the schedule on BBC America changed. But I first got hooked with "Bean".

Thanks my American friends for giving us Brits such big ups! Reading Yahoo answers and a lot of Brit publications we all run the US down very considerably. It is so nice of you all to be so generous.

I have nothing negative to say about any body. I think the accent is sexy, most Americans agree, any accent is really, if its spoken clearly at least! Why must you help people stereo-type!?

Very nice people. Individualistic and refined.

We really hate the French. Napoleon was the best thing to ever happen to that country, and look what they did to him.
