Since we are building a house soon in Wales, UK, we are planning on being a little more "green" by installing a Rain Water Harvest system to capture rainwater.

Does anyone have any experience of using one of these systems (their efficiency, benefits overall in the house, problems) and does anyone have any recommendations for a company (wherever they are from) that would supply in Wales.

Years ago it would have been a great idea, nowdays there so much pollution in the air that rainwater is much more contaminated than ground water.
If you have no choice (no other water available) built a cistern under the house, direct all the rain spouts to it and install a pump and a filter system.
