It's from the Apocalypse, which is a pretty crazy story. I'm glad somebody told me it was about the end of the world before I read it, because otherwise I would never have guessed it. Somebody told everybody that they'd have to mark themselves with it or they wouldn't be allowed to buy and sell, so they all marked themselves 666 and then something else happened and they all took it off. It's a thoroughly confused story.

In the Bible, the Book of REVELATION, "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. well the number six is a symbol. on the sixth day god created man. so the number six is like a sin b/c man is not perfect and is sinful. the fact that ther are three 6 im nott 100% sure. the bible is full of numbers.. all mean something. ther not just random. there must be something with the number 3 but i dont no

in the Bible. Revalations chapter 14 "..... and the number of The Beast shall be 600, three score, and 6."
this is part of a vision Peter had of the end of days. the beast (satan's beast) was rising up out of the pit of fire (HELL) to destroy the people of the Earth. It is not a direct reference to Lucifer, but to hie Beast.

The Bible teachs that the number six is the number of man...a common man is born in his sin...the number of Gods creation was seven therefore you see that six has fallen short of the glory of God...God himself is a trinity and Satan likes to counterfit God so you have a trinity of sixes..which is the number of the beast or Anti-Christ.The nuber seven is the number of God's completeness as in the world was created in seven days...there are several examples in the bible of seven being the completeness of God.
