I used to, when I was a little girl I used to confess to my priest, as I got older I got closer to God, now I just talk directly to him and ask for his forgiveness

Nope, my Priest doesn't take confession. Most Anglican Priests don't.

Not anymore. I was brought up Catholic & used to go to confession all the time. As I got older I thought, what's the point? Or maybe because my sins kept getting bigger & bigger and I didn't want anyone to know what I was really doing.

The Rabbi will bore me and the priest will rape me. I stay away from them both.

I only confess to our Lord God Jesus Christ.Nobody else could come close to understanding any of it anyways.And the simple and obvious faults I confess openly among friends and family.May God Bless You.

Yes, I am catholic and it helps me get things off my chest and to get things out in the open about god and maybe get some good advice from the priest. It also helps to know he won't divulge any information I give him.
