First step to healing a blackeye is putting a cold compress onto your eye. Take a clean rag, wet it, stick it in the freezer, and go back and get it an hour later. Then, leave it on your eye until the frozen feeling fades. It may be cold, but it will help treat the black eye.
Do not press hard on the eye, that will only cause the swelling to increase.
Next, you should drink orange juice. It's said that Vitamin C helps heal bruises quicker, Orange Juice has plenty of Vitamin C, so by drinking it, the black eye may heal quicker.
Next, with covering it up, do not use excessive makeup because if you use TOO much eye shadow or TOO much liquid foundation you'll end up making your face more noticeable to the black eye.
I would suggest only one layer of foundation and a medium eyeshadow [nothing too bright, nothing too light] such as a medium pink, light blue, light purple. Don't wear something sparkly around your eyes, that will only draw attention.

i can understand wanting to cover it up,hopefully the fight and the person who gave it to you was taken care of but anyway a great concealer or foundation can really cover it up like go to a local store like CVS or Excerd or even a grocery store and go to the makeup aisle and put the concealer or foundation on the back of your hand or hold it up to your skin and see if its close to your skin tone if it is then go one shade darker and buy that one and litely dab in the black area and also dab over your entire face then work into the skin you don;t just want to do the black area then you will be able to tell do your whole face and just a little more around the black area and it will conceal it good but it probably won't completely eliminate it but it will certainly help i wish you luck!

You don't want to be teased badly, is what you mean. Nor should you want to. Did you talk to the school nurse and the principle, by the way? Well, Chelse, you have two options. 1. Put make up over it. 2. You can wear an eye patch, till you get home. But I advise you to change schools!

All of my facial bruises I have had had great sports related stories behind them, so I never really wanted to hide them.
Try to make the rest of your face look as normal as possible, depending on the size, you can try to blend it in, but for the most part its just going to look gross for awhile.

You can call the police on the person who gave it to you. There is no covering up a black eye.

Why do you have to cover it? Accident or did someone hit you?
If it's an accident, so what? If anyone asks, just tell them the truth. They don't like it, too bad. If someone hit you, maybe you should tell someone. Only you know.

Cover it up as much as you can with LIQUID foundation. If you have it, use MARY KAY cover up. if it is still very noticable, just leave it, because there is nothing eles you can do other than get surgery! Sorry!
