I'm not sure what you mean by self invented. I do the best that I can with the talents God gave me. I own my own business, have my kid in private school and I like my life. Along the way, I've had a lot of support from friends and family to get where I am. How much is self invention, I do not know. But I am glad that I have special friends to share my life with.

As much as I like to say I am, i know better.
Have you ever read the four Agreements.
No one is self- invented, or GOD -invented for that matter. We all are just products of what society views as acceptable and unacceptable. No matter how hard we try, we will never FULLY cut the dreams of society out of our lives.
Every belief you have in your head right now, are products from what teachers, parents, religion, society has implanted. No one can think for themselves, because we lost OURSELVES, when we adopted societies beliefs at the beginning of organized culter.

Not completely, my parents had something to do with it!
But in the spirit of your question, yes. I would have to say I am. I've never been a "follower" or a trend watcher. I can't stand "brand lables."
