break it apart and reassemble it, or if it's the kind with the stickers for the colors, peel them off and arrange them like it's solved.

Another trick is to choose a color to work on and hold your thumb on that one color (like the upper left corner) and only move pieces not attached to that one. Once that side is complete, go to another side and do the same thing.That way, you'll always know what color is supposed to be on what side.

The first answer you received about tearing the cube apart is how my sons used to solve the cube. They took great pleasure in tearing it up and reassembling it. Now as adults, they have excellent paying jobs.

I broke it apart and put it back together, it was fun and I impressed all of my friends. The easiest way to solve a rubicks cube is to not mix it up
