I'm not pregnant and wouldn't consider it anyways but there's this woman about to give birth to conjoined (at the head) twins that share 2 brain lobes and she was given the choice and chose not to abort.....she's been given a hard time from family and friends for this decision.

I give her a lot of credit it is difficult to make a decision when everyone is against the one you chose. No I don't think that there is any acceptable reason for abortion. I believe that when a child is conceived that he is given a soul and to take that soul is not our choice but up to God to make that decision. I understand how a woman would not want to have a child that was from rape or incest but when you consider that the child has a soul how can one expunge that soul without consequences. How could one live with themselves knowing that they have overstepped God. I know it is a horrible thing to be raped but adoption is a viable choice for that situation. The child must not be the one to suffer for others mistakes.

Well I'm Pro-choice but I also believe that abortions shouldn't be used as a form of birth control. I think we should put a limit on it to 3 per lifetime. I think there are certain instances where women abuse the right to Pro-choice and don't take advantage of the many programs for free birth control! I don't believe that the pro-life people see the situation that you're speaking of as the same kind of situation that we've been fighting about for so long. That situation has to do with quality of life those children will have when they're born, can you imagine the physical and emotional pain they'd probably would be in? I can and that seems to be a cruel way to let children live if you know about the problem early enough but if they're already fully developed then how can you make that kind of decision. I feel bad for that woman that has to be a horrifying situation for her. Anyway I can't speak for all pro-life or pro-choice people but those are my views on it. That situation is an exception to whatever my beliefs are that is a medical situation and as a mom I wouldn't be strong enough to make adecision like that. Please tell that woman she's in my prayers!

No. I would put it in Gods hands and let him show me the way. I couldn't do it. If it were to happen and I had a baby with something wrong with it I would feel like there was a reason that happen and would go on with life. I'm had a miscarriage late year ago and I could never imagine having an abortion for any reason.

Wow I'm glad you asked this question I want to see what people put cause I always thought in the instance of rape that I would say abort until a friend told me her sister was the product of rape which made me think she could be a different person if her mom would have made that choice and her sister wasnt here

I could not see any justification in killing a living being. What ever the case the fetus DID NOT ask to be concieved under any circumstances so why should he/she be killed for others mistakes or bad judgement.
