Many reasons...
People may look at their sign, and if one thing matches them about it then they go crazy and think that it's absolutely right.
Or maybe people just like to do it for fun? I know i only check my horoscopes for fun.
Or they like mystical things... stuff that has to do with astrology...
Who knows?

Hah all I see is supportive answers to an idiotic question. First off you may want to rephrase your qeustion to, " Why do SOME lunatics believe that Horoscopes can tell them everything?"
Th truth is the majority of people who believe in horoscopes are not heavily into it. As well it is not like someone looks at a star constellation one day and said hey, this guy is going to have a bad day tommorow. There is a huge scientific side to astrology that many people stupidly ignore and call it fake.
Im a Sagattarians Snake wood element. My snake and sag profile are both 100% accurate spooky eh? So is my Earth Element. Oh how bout this as site I found to generate a free birth chart which nailed my individual aspects. Wow not so retarded now eh? Despite all the "Oh horoscopes are for fags" Bull crap. 80% of Americans know their sun sign, wow kind of freaky for some thing that is stupid huh?

Belief is everything. Belief is not truth though. I can "believe" with my entire mind that the Chicago Cubs will be baseball champ before I kick the bucket. Nuff said.
Astrology uses science but is not science.
Also I bet most people can name The Three Stooges with or without Shemp but can't name 3 Supreme Court judges. So what's your point?

Because horoscopes are very vauge they can apply to anything that is going on, and in a way it helps people find an way to solve a problem.

YOu misspelled. But I don't know why people believe what horscopes say, period. Although if you want to belive astrology, choose to believe the Chinese version. It just seems like it's more believeable, for some reason.

Once you see one similarity between what happened and what it predicts you instantly belive the rest of it. It is hard to get out of that mid set.
