Z A R I H S... I find myself AGREEING with you. The Taxes stink as I had to pay local taxes.. The healthcare system was not open to me, but from what I saw it stank. It was infinitely better in Belgium however.

Yes - the "ugly American" syndrome. My fellow Americans should stay long-term in other countries around the world to stop them from being total idiots. A lot of Americans have this "superiority" complex. Get over yourselves! You aren't superior, just fortunate to have been born here like me.

Americans are not arrogant or stupid. There are now three hundred million of us, and there is no justification for making such brash statements. You cannot possibly know everyone.
I lived abroad. I do not consider it a benefit, a blessing, or a worthwhile experience.
The US is by far the best country in the world. I think Americans are far better off staying home and enjoying what they have.
Americans are the most generous people on the planet. The US government gives away too much of our tax money to foreign countries. We do not get a dime from other countries.

I was born, raised, educated, and barely ever left America more than 2 weeks at a time. However I dare say that only arrogant people would use the word stupidity to describe anyone. I admit those that don't leave the country are missing out. However, if leaving the country gave you the attitude of arrogance you have. Then nobody should leave the country and people like you should be deported. Name one country with people who are not proud of themselves as citizens of that country and thinking in every ethical or practical aspect how to benefit that country and their own people not others. That would be a dying country. We are proud unlike you. You think you see the world in a perspective that is correct and beneficial to the world as a whole. You think people should be like you and you feel you can contribute to the world. I'll tell you the truth. You are nothing more than a dime a dozen humanitarians who can talk about saving the world and its people, but; when you are faced with the dark realities outside of your fantasy world and decisions between saving fewer lives to saving more lives; you will crumble. You are nothing, but a internet televangelist who lives in a dream world in his little head. Ask this question again when you have done something to change the world. Then I will accept your arrogance.

i don't experience something approximately them. they're loose to do as they decide for. You reported in yet another question which you lived in France for a on a similar time as. Do you someway think of that makes you dazzling via fact which you chosen to spend element of your existence someplace else? France is in basic terms the native land of the French. Do you think of they suspect their fellow countrymen are ignorant or xenophobic in the event that they have not lived interior the US for some years or in the event that they only talk French? fairly some youngsters have foreign places pen acquaintances. Does that propose some thing particular to you? absolutely everyone seems to be human beings the place ever you go. I savour the attempt and time human beings placed into gaining wisdom of quite a few languages yet that announces to me that they had fairly some time to spend on gaining wisdom of those languages. They stay a existence wherein they might easily talk the language to others so as that they could maintain it. they're people who've larger earning than maximum individuals so could have the money for to be lifetime pupils and/or international visitors. Why do you ask how human beings experience approximately it. The adventure such human beings get from living in different international places or gaining wisdom of alternative languages is their own and not undertaking to my judgment.

I'm guessing it is you that has not been to many other countries.

I have and would say that foreigner's conception of Americans is mostly a self fulfilling prophesy.

Their jealousy of Americans, and I do mean jealousy of our lifestyle and ability to become successful regardless of birth or nationality is the only explanation why the US is the emigrants destination of choice.

But I believe it is your ignorance and jealousy of what you see here that contributes to your one sided views. Your homeland is now under a socialist junta undergoing nationalization not of the large companies, but of smaller "mom and pop" businesses. Don't you see the hypocritical dichotomy of allowing Chavez to force Marxism upon the lower classes and allow the upper classes to retain their wealth.

Maybe that explains why you are so pro-socialism, you want the US to suffer like Venezuela. And again I maintain that is because of your jealousy.

Although I do admit I also laugh at the stupid Americans who join you on your anti-Bush, anti-American bandwagon. Especially since you finally admitted you were not an American. I wonder if they know the real reason you are professing such an anti-American sentiment is not the same as their's, to make America better, but to make America a Marxist state like your own.

Americans don't realize because of where they live, that the world is not all Peaches and Cream. They take their freedoms for granted, and that everyone thinks as they do. Well, there are people out there, and have been for a couple hundred years, that don't like us and never will.

Having served in the military, I have been to countries where your rights are non-existent. In Germany, no such thing as police brutality. they have a billy club that with one swing, will hit you a dozen times. You can be held without a phone call for a week, if they want too.

Yes, I think we need to go and see the world, the big, ugly world that is out there trying to do away with us.

I was born in the Soviet Union.
I've traveled all over Europe.
I can tell you that Europeans in general are by far more arrogant then the Americans.
In the US of A I met the most wonderful people ever. They are very welcoming, understanding of the language barrier, kind...

Now the question for you mister "HuyManist"[1] - Why do you hate your own country so much?

I am currently living abroad, and have on other occasions. I love America, and will return. The mere fact that one lives abroad doesn't stop ignorance, there are many American idiots abroad. Yet, it does go a long way to understanding... especially understanding that the US is the best country in the world.

That was an arrogant and simple-minded statement. I disagree entirely with your premise and proposed answer. In addition, I have lived ALL OVER the world, and I can say with certainty that there is no better place to live than the USA.

And you Brits have bad teeth, are always snobby, do poorly in the Olympics, can't build a car worth a darn, and have horrible taste in food. Please, generalization is for the uniformed, uneducated opinion. Your present line of questioning is showing is highly questionable taste and attitude at least some of your past thoughts were at least of value.

I can see your interest in US politics since yours is also in such disarray but perhaps the old adage of " Those in glass houses should not throw stones" should be applied here?

I think this is America and people are free to stay home or travel the world as they please. They also have every right to be as stupid or arrogant as they please.

I wouldn't want to live in your "World" where people can be forced into doing things they don't want to do (a.k.a. slavery) just because somebody in power doesn't like their attitude or doesn't feel they are "smart" enough.

Anybody who thinks that Americans have a monopoly on arrogance and stupidity are fools who are buying into anti-American propaganda hook, line, and sinker. Once again, fools.
