Whenever I eat something that I think may give me constipation, like greasy cheesy pizza, I take 1 or 2 Tums right after I eat. I found it helps settle my stomach and makes the whole digestion to bowel process a lot more pleasant. Tums came out with "Smoothies" tablets which are actually good. And you get some calcium in your body too.

I had just went to see an herbalist for this very thing last week. His remedy was very, very simple.

1. Take a powdered magnesium supplement. I use Natural Calm. Natural Calm helps calcium supplements work much better. It also helps the assimilation of potassium and calcium. Stress and poor digestion deplete your body of these very vital minerals.

2. Take a fiber supplement twice a day. He suggested Everybody's fiber by Nature Sunshine. Do you realize we should be consuming about 30 grams of fiber a day?

3. Take a supplement combo that includes some or all of the following: Spirulina, alfalfa, wheat grass, barley grass, chlorella.

4. Drink about 10 glasses of water and warm herbal tea through out the day.

5. Try to stay away from white flour and sugar as much as possible. Eat oatmeal with sliced apples for breakfast. Eating more fiber helps to pull the putrid toxins out of the body, thus more energy for you and less constipation.

6. I don't like to exercise but I have found it's a must if I want my supplements to bring healing and my body to stop rebelling and work with me. I found that using a mini trampoline offers great exercise without hurting the joints like running and the treadmill. It also works the lymphatic system unlike other forms of exercise.

Eat lots of fiber & drink lots of water. Here is a good recipe for a high-fiber salad. Make sure you drink LOTS of water when you eat it.

When you peel the orange leave as much of the "white stuff" on it as you can, then cut up the orange OVER the salad bowl so that you get the juices in your salad.

bran, etc...

and get "Smooth Move" tea ( i forget what company makes it). you can get it at grocery stores or health food stores. just dont let it steep too long or youll be sorry.
