hmm, that's weird, I don' t know! ( Well, actually, they just want to get the 2 points for answering a question or to be noticed. Does this answer your Q?)

Dragon thinks they give answers like that because they don't know the answer but they still want to get the 2 points from answering the question. Dragon tries not to answer questions like that if she can help it.

I don't know. How do they lose points cuz someone said "I don't know"? They lose points for asking the question not for people's answers. However, for some questions such as this one you just asked, "I don't know" is the only truthful answer someone can give otherwise we are just speculating because how do we know for sure why other people do what they do?

Sometimes I get best answers for very short, useless answers. But you're right, it is odd. (I do it all the time..)

Well.. I use "I don't know" cuz I really don't know the answer!
For "Hmm.. that's weird", it's my first reaction to expressed that i'm puzzled and I'm speechless.
