You have to become disciplined to only eat at appropriate times and in appropriate amounts. When you're home and tempted to eat, get busy doing something that you can't do and eat at the same time. Only eat at the table at mealtimes. No eating anywhere else. No eating between meals. Drink water or diet drinks when you think you want to eat. Sometimes, it's just thirst you are feeling. And if you've just got to have a snack, make it an apple or an orange. Keep the junk food on the store shelves. Don't bring it home!! Good luck with healthier eating habits!

get a hobbie - you are eating from boredom - not hunger...you must find something else to do with your time. when you start to eat again from being bored - go back online to answers and play around, call on your friends, walk your dog, whatever you can do to entertain yourself....if you are average wieght now - remember that you wont look good if you get fat - that should turn you off from eating too much...and if you cant stop eating - eat healthier like fruit, or veggies , not junk food...good luck

If your around the house doing nothing, then you may get bored and start eating. The key is to keep you mind busy, like reading a book, or clean something, playing games, or even go outside to exercise.
