engine flush is not a coolant flush they are 2 different things. That said you would not benefit at all from an engine flush. An engine flush is designed to clean out a gummed up engine. But all you will do is create more problems than you already have. Most engine flushes are kerosene based and will most likely do damage to your engine. And it will not make the engine light go out. That is usually emission related. Oxygen sensor and so on. Find out why the light is on and do not flush the engine you will be glad you didn't

OK. Youve got 3 question here.

Engine flush is a radiator flush. It involves emptying the radiator flud and replacing the fluid, as well as looking for leaks within the water system of the engine.

Check engine light goes on for many reasons. Its a light that goes on every time a problem is detected by the engine computer regarding any system that relates to the engine.

The fact that your car failed the smog emissions could be because
1. the smog pump needs to be replaced,
or
2. the catalytic convertor needs to be replaced,
or
3. the oxygen sensor is not connected to the computer or needs to be replaced.

it won't do anything for emissions, it will flush the cooling system that shouldn't do anything for the check engine light either.
