It's far too early to speculate.

With a single tyre supplier next year, the teams that drove on Bridgestones this year will have some advantage over the others, but by how much? Who knows, the ex-Michelin teams might do a better job with their chassis. There have been a lot of changes in driver as well as personnel lineup. Engine freeze and rev limit as a new regulation also.
Ferrari looks very strong, though, despite the loss of MS and possibly Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne taking a back seat. Kimi and Massa appear to be a very solid driver pairing.
If McLaren can overcome the reliability problem that everyone talks about, and sort out their differences with the new Bridgestone tyres, they could also be in the running for the title...no one disputes the talent and ability of Alonso, and I'm sure he is all fired up after winning his second title. The second McLaren driver will also have to do a good job in his rookie year (unless it's Pedro) and support Alonso.
Renault could be on the brink of decline...maybe I'm wrong, but the Fisi/Kovalainen combo just doesn't look the championship winning material.
Honda could well bounce back next year and give the Big 3 a headache. It's about time they start winning races regularly.
Red Bull could also come good...new driver, Adrian Newey, Renault engine, and mo' money...
BMW looked pretty darn impressive towards the end of this season..they too could start scoring podiums regularly.
Williams will sadly need to wait a couple of years before they can be contenders again, I think...they really are in a bit of a slump at the moment.
Bu seriously, the real contenders are the teams that finished in the top 3 this year, and I have my money on Ferrari.
We will get a better picture of who's who after the winter testing, which I'm sure everyone follows closely, right?
Bring on Melbourne 2007!!

My best bet would be Ferrari with Massa and Raikkonnen.

I am certain that Renault will have great cars BUT... not drivers. Though I am a fan of Ferrari, I can't deny Alonso's qualities as a driver and Fisichella is just classes behind him or Schumacher or Kimi. It could be seen in the Schumi-Alonso battles and Schumi-Fisichella battles. Schumi finded difficulty in overtaking Alonso while it was a lot easier to overtake Fisi. Kovalainen might be talented but he will need some time to work out and get used to his team and GPs. So Renault just lost a lot losing Alonso.

McLaren couldn't solve the problem with their car's reliability a whole season so that makes me a little sceptic that they will be at the top next season. Still, I believe Alonso will be a part of the battles for the top but I don't believe he could win them with this car.

PS: b-b-b-brengun, honey, get a life! All that hate is just not healthy! :)

This is a difficult question. Kimi Raikkonen may be strong next year, Felipe Massa had 2 race - win --> All ferrari, but Alonso this year he had 2 nd World championship title. I don't know Kovalainen, but may be he's strong ! Next year should be fun !

Alonso made a BIG mistake changing his team
I don-t think that Raikkonen will do something great in Ferrari
Massa is having great chances for F1 title
but there is a problem!
A lot of changes were made in Ferrari team
so Ferrari will never be as good as he was last years

Alonso made a dumb move going with McLaren. . I don't know what he was thinking. I am also really surprised that Renault is making Fisichella their number one driver - he's alright, but not that good. I would have to go with Massa and Raikkonen. Massa is pretty solid - and I think Raikkonen will rock with a better car.

Raikkonen should win the drivers championship, and Ferrari will probably win the Constructors championship.

Unless McLaren sort their act out very quickly Alonso will have a very difficult year

Bernie is in all probability appropriate. the only individual i could hear to previous to him while it includes F1 predictions is Frank Williams. There are 4 last tracks which will in all probability favour RB over Ferrari with McLaren 0.33, and one unknown song. Webber is 24 factors previous to Vettel, and much extra consistent. it is going to take a particular attempt from any driving force no longer in a RB to win the call this twelve months. i could say Alonso is the 2d regularly occurring for the call.

Raikkonen will outpace Massa after the first few races and win the F1 title in 2007.

My prediction is probably wrong however.

I predicted SchMACKER wouldn't cheat this year, but I was wrong!! Tsk tsk tsk....naughty boy!!
