My daughter is currently taking voice and drama lessons. we live in miami florida and would like to find out about any auditions in the area for plays and or musicals. we are also looking for a new dama caoch.

Just look all over the internet. That's how I got started. Google "auditions Miami". You should be able to find something. There are also newsletters you can subscribe to that tell about local auditions and stuff. It also can't hurt to send a resume and head shot to all the theaters in your area. Good luck!

The Craigslist suggestion is a little "Iffy".... you have to wade through a lot of crap... a lot of scams... and a lot of bull$hit to find an occasional valid audition notice. Mandys was a good suggestion... I'd also add The Florida Acting Webzine... http://floridaactingwebzine.com/index.php you have to register (it's free, an they don't sell your e-mail address) they had to go to a "Register" format, because it was being taken over by spam artists... just sign up, and you've got access to the entire site.
